It's getting close to the 200 marker so I thought I should post something to acknowledge I'm still working.
Bad thing is I can't do work on the stuff I'd like to, with average temperatures of 100 degrees every day, my chocolate sculptures are so weak they just turn to goo. (literally in some cases)
This is a colored version of a very slick looking power armor I saw while googling mechs the other day.
The picture is actually being faffed with in Adobe now to add lighting and such (as PSP9 doesn't like my Wacom) but this picture you're looking at was colored in entirely with PSP9 with constant swaps from tablet to mouse as was needed.
A small side note for anyone curious about the blue or green stuff.
The blue stuff (present on her neuro suit) is actualy a kind of climate control akin to astronauts and F1 racers. Using a flexible plumbing system coolant is constantly pushed about both the suit and the user to keep temperatures nice and reasonable during long uses.
The green stuff is the remenants of the first color scheme. They've been left on as low light illumination. I'd been thinking about posting this preview with the "light" nice and low with the suit providing its own lighting. It could look cool but would take a titch more work. As many have heard from me before. I'll get around to it.
I'm actually not sure about how to shade this period as I can't for the life of me picture the shadow formations. It may fall down to firing up DAZ3D and using Victoria or Aiko to try and suss the best lighting. ^_^'
Should anyone have any tips tricks or other tidbits, please feel free to enlighten me.
Oh and one last bit of useless information. The reason I colored the rockets differently isbecause I envisioned them more like a multi-function grenade launcher that allows the user to choose between HE (Red) Fragmentation (Green) Smoke (Grey) and Flares (Orange) which, by detaching and lifting open the launcher to access the innards, allows a MAI to mix and match their rounds as they see fit. each slot can be fired using a "barcode" recognition that determines what the round is when it's inserted so as to allow an MAI to simply state the type they want and pull the trigger. Quite a bit cleaner then having a trigger for each one.
I'd say her most fearsome weapon would be the pilebunker, with her suit she could get in right close and put that thing in the right spot every time. The claw is a close second, snipping off body parts or destroying weapons that get caught in it
